Shoeless & Jazz

Yoooo.
So... I'm back.
Lots going on.
In the music department.
And my head is all funky.
For reasons I will explain below.
So, I'm sorry in advance; for anything that may sound weird.
Just my brain is all wobbly and such.

So...
Friday, we had our MusicAlive performance for CONCERT BAND. Which was fun. Mostly.
Some kids were being asses, so our conductor talked to us about that---

Fuck.
Fuck.
Just shoot me.

Drama.
Ahhh.
Can't do this now.
I owe you a post. And soon.
Sorry.

Stay zesty folks. Even if I can't.

Herloooooo...

So. I'm sorry I've been gone so long.
But I swear. I'll start posting back here a lot more.
School is a pain.
But when is it not.

March Break was uber amounts of fun. Plane rides not included. Every airport hated us. And involved extended amounts of time in each. We made it though. And has a few bumpy moments a long the road. See some HERE. But in general it was very memorable.

School has started. And it hasn't thrilled me. Band is working us hard. We have a festival next week, and three practices. But that's more or less excepted. Jazz Band is also working us me hard. Especially, because I missed the two rehearsals before the last one we had. In the end, I had to learn a new song, and a mini solo in one rehearsal. I managed to pull it off, but it was something else. My friend is all psyched because she gets to play flute for this certain song. And the kids who sit on either side of me are major creeps, but we end up laughing a lot during rehearsals.

We have a concert like thing coming up on the 31st at a local restaurant called Shoeless Joe's. Really psyched about that too, because all jazz ensembles are playing there. It's just one of those feel good events. Should be fun!

Easter weekend is going great. So far I have accomplished nothing. I watched three movies today. Which is an amazing thing to accomplish because I only woke up at 3:00pm. =)

But more or less, I'm just happy to have a few days at home to lounge and do nothing.

Talk to you soon,
Stay zesty,
<33,

P.s. Remind me to tell you the Needle story. It'll be something else.

To Review It All

Sooo... Not like many people read this, but I haven't blogged in a while, so I'm going to give you the low down on what's happened recently.

For One: I have dyed my hair. Yet again. Spent a whole 5 hours in a salon. But it was so worth it. Now I have red, blue, and purple streaks. And the base colour is like dark brown (from my old dye jobs)and this new auburn-ish colour (hair dresser suggested) and some more burgundy parts from the old red and all these new colours on top. It's quite something. I feel like a walking palette. So many colours adorning my head. Also, apparently I have a green-ish turquoise-ish streak in there somewhere... I don't know anymore. Just things people have commented about.

Two: I am currently in -drum roll please- FLORIDA. (AKA. The Sunshine State) You won't believe the weather. SO warm. It's amazing. Can be humid, but you kinda have to focus on the silver lining. It's kinda funny though, my friend who I went with has probably showered everyday... It's amusing.

Two Point Five: Plane ride here was something else. My friend and are were scheduled to leave at 10:15am on Wednesday. Sadly though, the night before a GIANT snow storm came and cancelled all flights leaving (and probably coming in) on Wednesday morning. This meant our flight was cancelled and that our connecting flight (Via New York too). So my lovely mother managed to get us a flight later that day at 10:00pm. So, she being the paranoid woman she is made us leave at 5:00pm (Which is FOUR hours ahead.) So... We were waiting sitting there starting at like 6:00pm. Our plane was delayed several time and switched terminals so we ended up leaving at like 12:30am THURSDAY. It was insane, I tell you.

Two Point Seven: Shopping in the U.S. amazes me greatly. Just fantastic. Bought some new stuff, and much to may dismay... My friend managed to get persuade me to buy a SKIRT from HOLLISTER. Which are two thing I NEVER wear or buy. It was something else. And let me say I am ashamed greatly of it... But I have to wear it now because she has told EVERYBODY about it... And I payed my own money for it... Such a shame...

Three: Beatle Bob is now my hero. If you know who he is. You know wha I'm talking about. That man has managed to be one of the biggest, (and in my opinion) and best music fan out there. And he still manages to be himself. He doesn't waiver on other people's opinion on himself, and keeps himself a mystery from everyone else. He has accomplished things I can only dream of. If I every meet him, I want a picture. He is a legend in my book.

But of course
W: News. The are all talking about the election and stuff... Was watching the Disney channel though... My friend loves it... Sometimes a can't help but feel inclined to watch myself.
E: Nothing. Though I did buy a giant ass pack of Mini-Eggs at SUPER Target. It made my day.
L: Nothing... I really need to go get some music... I feel like I have nothing new right now... (Even though I do) I am listening to Explosions In The Sky when I go to sleep now. They really set the mood for sleepy, sleepy time.
D: This. And enjoying the new Blender and AP magazine. You have NO idea how long it took me to find AP. Every store I went to DIDN'T have it. But I finally found it today.
D: Nothing. I was drinking and Amp'd early. Quite enjoyable. I must remind myself to have it more often. Still waiting for the sugar attack to come though...

I so call it. Hollister Head. I feel like a dunce with it... It kinda sucks. All I can think about is 'DUNCE DUNCE DUNCE'. Sad I know... But somethings you'll never get used to...

-sigh-
Imma freak.
Stay Zesty Folks.
